Our most popular photo tour and workshop takes you very early morning to capture the busy activity in a fishing village outside of Hoi An. Taking place in a very dynamic environment, the tour is focusing on people and documentary photography, using the best light of the day.
Sunset in Hoi An makes for an infinite hue of colours and reflections. Enjoy a boat ride to Thanh Ha village, explore the rice paddies in the warm afternoon light, capture the workers planting, ploughing or harvesting rice. Enter a traditional village along the river and a boat ride back to Hoi An. Photograph the old quarter in the best light, soaking up the afternoon sun and colours on the river.
We seat around a good coffee and go through all your camera settings, learning about the basics of photography and your camera. We go through the main relationships between all your camera modes, and the ones to be used in travel photography.
After a day exploring Yangon we fly to Bagan. Bagan is considered by many to be the finest collection of temples in Asia and savouring the sunrise from the upper terrace of the temple is a unique experience. Continuing to Pindaya and the famous Buddha caves we then travel to Inle Lake where we visit the remote Sunken Stupas. Inle Lake is a photographers paradise with its bustling local markets, handicrafts, stilted villages and breathtaking views. Finally arriving back in Yangon for a city tour and some time to explore before our journey comes to an end.
